Ibrahim Ali Allehaidan
Professor/ Accounting Department and Dean of Studies & Consulting Service
Dr. Allehaidan was appointed as teaching assistant at College of
Business and Economics (CBE) in 1991 after finishing his bachelor degree in
Accounting from (CBE) with GBA of (4.9 out of 5) and first honor. He completed
his master in Accounting in 2000 from Gonzaga University in USA. In 2007, he
finished his PhD in philosophy from Victory University in Australia and the
title of his theses was "The Effectiveness of Audit Committees in
Australia and Saudi Arabia".
In 2007, he was appointed as the head of the accounting department for
three years. In 2010, He worked as a consultant for Majmah University, and
helped them to establish the Deanship of Scientific Research by acting as the
dean for this deanship for two years. In 2012, he was appointed as vice dean of
College of Business Administration in Al-Rass for one year as he was chosen to
work as dean of Studies & Consulting Service Institute and that’s where he
is working now. In 2013, he was promoted to be associated professor. Finally,
He attended many training sessions, participated, and attended many
conferences, workshops and seminars.
He worked as a
head or a member for many committees at QU and MU. He served as a member of
Qassim University Counsel and Majmah University Counsel as well as a head of
the Accounting Department Counsel at QU and MU. He is currently the head of
Studies & Consulting Service Institute Counsel as well as the head of
the Advisory Board for the Studies & Consulting Service Institute. Due to his
administrative responsibilities in the last few year, he thought only one
course each semester at CBE.
His research interests
include audit and corporate governance and has 5 published papers in verity of
international and national journals. Finally, he and Dr. Altoaijry just
finished translating Small Business Accounting Book.
